I'm working on the "Place Listing" page - the page that will be shown under WORLD/ on the menu, and allows you to access all of the custom maps.

I am trying to keep it as simple as you can possibly imagine, as new players will be exposed to it. I have came up with the following:

As you can see, the following information is shown:
- Place name.
- Little emblems/icons to let you know what the place features.
- Target level (the level the place was designed for).
- Rating (voted by players).
- Total online visitors.

The icons are obviously just random placeholders to see what it would look like. I've also taken the liberty of filling the listing with UT server names, to get the full effect(smiley)

I thought it would be nice to colourise the place names for some reason or another, so I've done it here... In this example, the places are coloured depending on whether they are designed for well below, well above, or near your level...

EDIT: It is actually in working order now - those screenshots are from last night. However, I wouldn't mind some suggestions if anyone has any.

Btw, you click the place name to view more information, comments, set place as favourite, rate this place, VISIT this place, etc.

This is just the listing page. I want it as simple as possible. The icons will show whether the place has boss NPCs, quests, designed-for-newbies, vendors, etc.

Incomplete version of one of the new portal actions I'm working on. It will allow you to deny access to a place by checking a player's various statistics.

I think the stuff I've added will cover most use cases. I'm sure I've missed a few things,  but they'll be added as people request them, no doubt.

So this could be used to make the Preferred player only maps, interesting.
