Yeah, some new quests and ways of getting xp would be great, and also a way of getting back quest items. A lot of the current quests become impossible if you lose a relevant item.

Right I do think I ran into that at one point too, but as I recall I think a lot of those still had monsters you could attack to get those items back not sure on that though.

Also I think that yes this game has survived because maybe everyone remembers the old community and hopes that one day it will come back and everyone will be friends again and chat a lot more, but the thing holding that back imo is the need for updates to keep people busy while the chat is going.  I'll be honest that to me it seems like a new player would see the whole "i have to click 'attack, q, attack, q, attack, q' a million times to be a good level?" and think maybe I don't want to do that.  To me, it's fun because of the mult*tasking, sometimes I can chat with people sometimes I can do something else like afk in another game or play a mobile game while I wait for things to respawn.

Why don't we have Blackjack? It's simple, easy and fun. Poker is cool too. I think it would really benefit our participation numbers if we could have an actual table where players play against one another. That would obviously be a bit complicated but it could be a point suck which we really need (10 points to join the game or 100 for the day).

There's a lot of free code out there for poker but the current cybersecurity threat is the way many programs are built using repositories supported by third parties who end up moving on. WordPress is a complete f*ing joke right now because of the number of vulnerabilities being disclosed every damn week which all target third party plugins. It's easier to spot issues in some else's code though so if you're careful it should be fine.

We actually had blackjack in round 3. I don't know why we got rid of it, it's pretty straightforward, as you said. I think the only issue was people somehow had different rules and kept telling me it was wrong
